Babyleg Brawler - Game Jam Game

This is GameJams For Ants submission for the 2024 Global Game Jam hosted at Media Design School.

This year's theme was "Make me laugh".

We had 48 hours to make a game from the prompt and this is what we came up with! Babyleg Brawlers is a 1v1 local co-op brawler. The objective is to entertain and make the emperor laugh. 

 We are made up of two artists and two programmers and had a lot of fun with the ragdoll upper bodies and making the sound effects in-house.

Instructions:

2 Players controller only supported.

Each player can join the game by pressing any key on their controller. 

Use left stick to move and right stick to attack. 

The aim is to please the emperor by beating each other as fast and hard as possible. Score points by hitting each other or by knocking your opponent into the pit. It is a tug-of-war-style scoring,  if the arrow reaches your end of the bar, you win!
